Trey Songz isn’t here for a woman claiming he brutalized her in NYC last month.
According to TMZ, an unnamed woman filed a report last month alleging that Trey had assaulted her. The woman claims the singer repeatedly punched her in the face and dragged her by her hair while inside a bowling alley bathroom where she works.
Sources say it’s unclear of what prompted Trey to attack the woman who was later taken to a hospital for visible minor injuries.
The NYPD are actively investigating the case, but nevertheless, Trey denies the allegations.
“A source close to the investigation informs us that TS has been cooperative with authorities and expects that when all the evidence is reviewed, he will be exonerated. This is another instance where those involved try to blame the celebrity with hopes of getting fame or riches,” Mitchell Schuster, a legal rep for Trey says.
This is not the first time Trey has faced legal trouble. Throughout the recent years, there’s been countless claims of alleged sexual impropriety by to the singer despite him calling the allegations a “shakedown.” We’ve previously reported that Trey was recently sued for rape. However, the case was dismissed due to the statute of limitations.
