Lil Wayne and Mack Maine gifts a group of kids with a trip to Dave & Buster’s to celebrate their hard work.
The Louisiana rappers recently partnered with Wilson Sporting Goods to host a fun day at Dave & Buster’s for 150 kids between the ages of 12-16.
The event came as a way to reward the children for excelling in academics and local community sports programs such as basketball, football, baseball, soccer, and tennis.
In addition, each child received new sports equipment and had Young Money artists Jay Jones and Allan Cubas with the honors of passing them out.
This isn’t the first time Wayne and Mack have teamed up to show appreciation to their hometown. In the past, the two have created an athletic program in a renovated Harrell Park where Wayne grew up.
In more recent news, Wayne and Mack are working on two mentorship programs called “Son of a Saint.” The program helps New Orleans kids follow their dreams and become leaders through mentorship and support.
