Police claim that a con artist from Las Vegas defrauded a would-be “John” of his $230,000 luxury Swiss watch.
The victim admitted to taking Priscilla Cueva, 34, and her friend to his room, where he discussed having “intimate relations” with them.
Although he insisted no money was exchanged for sexual acts, the victim decided to place his pricey Audemars Piguet Swiss timepiece in his luggage before getting in the shower.
According to Fox5Vegas, the victim also claimed that he and the women drank wine in the hotel room.
The victim told the police that Cueva and the other woman left the room to get ice but never returned.
When the victim woke up the next day, he discovered that his $230,000 watch was gone.
On September 18, he reported the incident to the police without delay.
Cueva was recognized by hotel casino security and law enforcement from hotel surveillance footage because she had previously received a warning for trespassing on the property.
The circumstances of her arrest have not been revealed, but she was arrested on December 22 over the crime.
According to court documents from The Post, Cueva was charged with gross misdemeanor conspiracy to commit grand larceny and felony grand theft with a value above $100,000.
Despite prosecutors asking the court for more time to conduct their investigation and file a formal criminal complaint, she was released the following day on the condition that she “stay out of trouble.”
Cueva is due back in court for grand larceny on April 24.
