Rapper Trae Tha Truth charged with assault after attacking fellow Houston rapper Z-Ro months ago.
Back in August, a viral video circulated online of Trae and Z-Ro getting into a scuffle outside of a Houston restaurant. The video showed Z-Ro lying on the ground in a defensive position while several men were kicking and striking him.

However months later, a new video came out showing Trae turning himself into police custody for his involvement in the fight. The legendary rapper was charged with assault causing bodily injury, which is a misdemeanor charge.
Following the incident, Z-Ro spoke with Fox 26 News and said he was lured away from the restaurant and “sucker punched.”
“It’s Trae tha Truth. Yeah, he asked me to, after I was finished doing what I was doing with a fan, to come and speak to him,” Z-Ro said. “So, I went over there with the intentions of speaking, and speech is not where we’re going. That’s not what took place, speech. So, it was a lot of, like I said, I was sucker punched and then I was jumped after the sucker punch.”
In addition to being caught off guard, the court documents stated that Z-Ro was also robbed of his jewelry during the altercation.
