Rapper Lil Keed's Cause of Death Revealed

Medical examiners have finally determined Lil Keed’s death after the rapper died unexpectedly in May last year.

It was ruled by the Los Angeles Medical examiner- coroner that the 24-year-old died of natural causes due to eosinophilia.

According to The Mayo Clinic, eosinophilia is a “higher than normal level of eosinophils,” which “are a disease-fighting white blood cell.” This condition, Mayo Clinic reports, usually indicates a parasitic infection, an allergic reaction, or cancer.”

However, the coroner said it’s unclear what caused Keed’s fatal condition.

On May 13th, it was reported that the rapper requested that he go to the hospital.

“He had been sick in bed for 4 days with complaints of stomach and back pains,” the report added.  “His brother noted that the decedent’s eyes were jaundiced and drove him to the hospital in a private vehicle.”

On the way to the hospital, Keed suffered a seizure  “before going unresponsive.” He was pronounced dead later that night at the hospital.
According to Keed’s family, the rapper didn’t do drugs but drank alcohol and smoked a vape pen.
