Saweetie is set to make an appearance as a guest star on the second season of Peacock’s Bel-Air series.

According to Variety, the “Icy” rapper will play herself in the popularized series second season, which premiers in February. The details surrounding her role is not public news yet, and it’s not clear on how many episodes she will be a part of.

The series debuted on the streaming app in 2022 and quickly gained attraction after it aired, with some calling it a nice spinoff from NBC’s Fresh Prince of Bel-Air series.

The series follows main character Jabari Banks, who is from the tough streets of West Philadelphia. However, Jabari gets into some trouble in his hometown and moves to a luxurious gated-community in Bel-Air with his relatives. In addition, viewers get a chance to see Jabari’s complicated journey throughout a reimagining process, from unlearning survival skills to living a life of luxury.

Nevertheless, this isn’t the first time Saweetie has graced the television screen with her acting skills. In 2021, the Bay Area rapper made her acting debut in ABC’s Grown-ish series. Saweetie played a character by the name of Indigo, who is a bossy and assertive rapper.
