A$AP Rocky wants the world to know that Rihanna’s forthcoming Super Bowl Halftime Show will be legendary.
The “Fashion Killa” MC sat down with Zane Lowe on Apple Music 1 on Wednesday, where he gushed over Riri’s highly anticipated return to the stage during the big game. Though he didn’t go into the specifics that fans are eager to know, such as songs she’ll perform and possible guests joining her, Rocky did express his adoration for his iconic boo.
“I’m so glad that my lady’s back making music again and whatnot and getting back out there,” he gloated.
The 34-year-old has not released an album since 2016‘s critically acclaimed “Anti,” which landed her several Grammy awards. This began Ri distancing herself from music, shifting her focus to growing her Fenty empire. In 2018, she performed for the last time alongside Dj Khaled. Since then, she’s peeked in and out of music, leaving the Rihanna Navy begging for crumbs. Then finally, in October 2022, she dropped her single “Lift Me Up” featured on the “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” soundtrack. Soon after, it was announced that she’d be gracing the Super Bowl Halftime stage.
Now that Ri’s concert is just around the corner, A$AP shares the audience’s anticipation.
“Her being the creative she is, she going to bring it, man. I’m excited. I’m more excited than everybody else, honestly,” he added.
A$AP and Rihanna became parents to a baby boy on May 13th, 2022. Hearing new music from her viewpoint as a new mother and rumored fiancé will be even more intriguing.
