On Saturday, Drake performed at the Apollo Theater in the first of two performances presented by SiriusXM. Towards the end of the show, the Canadian rapper teased a possible new project.

Video captured the moment Drake, who was presumably just thinking out loud, told the crowd another project was not out of the question.

“I hope I can strike up more emotions for you,” The Certified Love Boy told the crowd. “Maybe this year. I might get bored and make another one. Who knows.”

It wouldn’t be surprising if Drake dropped an album in 2023, considering he’s been dropping projects steadily. He released Certified Love Boy in September of 2021 and followed it up with Honestly, Nevermind in June of 2022, capping off the trilogy with the 21 Savage collab, Her Loss, just five months later.

Other key moments from Drake’s night at the Apollo include surprise guest appearances from Dipset and 21 Savage. The rapper even paid homage to Dipset by rockin’ Cam’ron’s famous pink mink jacket and matching hat. The Harlem rappers performed several of their classics In front of a replica of a bodega, including “I Really Mean It,” “Dipset Anthem,” and “We Fly High (Ballin).”

Drake’s second performance at the Apollo is set for Sunday night.
