Robyn and Juan Dixon have officially tied the knot again.
The news couldn’t have come at a better time, as Sunday’s Real Housewives of Potomac episode showed Karen Huger questioning Robyn’s wedding to Juan, calling it a “fake” wedding.
PEOPLE exclusively confirmed that the Dixons had tied the knot for the second time. They share sons Corey, 14, and Carter, 13.
In last night’s episode, Robyn revealed that the two would be getting married the following day after her brother-in-law’s wedding in Jamaica, which many fans, and even fellow housewife Mia Thorton, thought was interesting. Robyn also revealed that the wedding would just be her and Juan with the boys.
The intimate wedding will show in Potomac’s season finale since the wedding was taped when the ladies filmed; also, Robyn will go more in-depth on the wedding at the reunion, which was taped last Thursday.
In August 2020, sources confirmed that the Dixons obtained a marriage license, making the wedding the hottest topic during this season, along with Mia’s drink throw on Wendy Osefo and rumors about Candiace Dillard Bassett’s husband, Chris Bassett, being inappropriate towards Gizelle Bryant and Ashley Darby, which from producers proved to be wrong.
After obtaining their marriage license, the couple had until February to say, “I do.” Robyn said she wanted to get away to wed Juan, away from reality tv.
“I don’t even know if I want a wedding. I don’t know if I need one — like, a traditional wedding,” she said, explaining instead that she wanted to have a private ceremony with just her, Juan, and the kids. “I’m going to keep it super simple…. It’ll just be the four of us. We’re not telling anyone.”
“It’s literally just ceremony and that’s it. We don’t need no cake, no reception — nothing,” she later told her assistant, adding in confessional, “The thought of an actual wedding and all the pomp and circumstances that come with it, that doesn’t excite me. It just feels more special to do it privately, without worrying about everyone else and how they perceive it.”
Robyn wanted a prenuptial agreement, including an infidelity clause, though it’s unclear if they got one.
Congrats to the Dixons again!
