Some of the performers for the 65th Grammy Award Show have been announced, and it’s quite the lineup.

The first to hit the stage will be current nominees: Mary J Blige, Lizzo, Steve Lacey, and Bad Bunny, along with Brandi Carlile, Luke Combs, Kim Petras, and Sam Smith.

Grammy Award winner Mary J Blige has been nominated for six additional awards: Record Of The Year (“Good Morning Gorgeous“), Album Of The Year (“Good Morning Gorgeous” (Deluxe)), Best R&B Performance (“Here With Me“), Best Traditional R&B Performance (“Good Morning Gorgeous”), Best R&B Song (“Good Morning Gorgeous”), and Best R&B Album (“Good Morning Gorgeous” (Deluxe)).

Lizzo, who is also a three-time Grammy award winner, has been nominated for five additional awards: Record Of The Year (“About Damn Time“), Album Of The Year (“Special“), Song Of The Year (“About Damn Time”), Best Pop Solo Performance (“About Damn Time”), and Best Pop Vocal Album (“Special”).

Bad Bunny, who has won two Grammys, has been nominated for three additional awards: Album Of The Year (for “Un Verano Sin Ti“), Best Pop Solo Performance (“Moscow Mule“), and Best Música Urbana Album (“Un Verano Sin Ti”).

Steve Lacy, who has yet to win a Grammy, is up for four nominations: Record Of The Year (“Bad Habit”), Song Of The Year (“Bad Habit”), Best Pop Solo Performance (“Bad Habit”), and Best Progressive R&B Album (“Gemini Rights“).

The ceremony will be hosted by Trevor Noah and broadcast live on CBS on February 5, 2023, at 8 p.m. ET/ 5 p.m. PT from the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.  You can stream the Grammy premiere ceremony live on live.grammy.com at 12:30 p.m. PT.

So far, Beyonce is in the lead with nine grammy nominations, with Kendrick Lamar on her heels with seven.

Adele has been nominated for seven awards, while Future, Mary J. Blige, and DJ Khaled tie with six nominations.

Five nominees were in the top three categories for the year’s top three albums, records, and songs: Beyoncé, Adele, Kendrick Lamar, and Lizzo.
There’s no surprise that Mary J. Blige is up for both record and album of the year along with ABBA, and Steve Lacy, who’s up for both record and song for the chart-topping “Bad Habit.”
Additional performers will be announced in the coming days.
