Reese’s took a childhood favorite and dipped it into chocolatey goodness, leaving fans beyond impressed.
The company has taken 13 unique animal shapes, including lions, tigers, and bears, transforming them in a way no one saw coming. Each cracker is smothered in peanut butter candy and dipped in milk chocolate, offering the same Reese’s flavor with a crunchy twist.
Nowell Kahle, manager of Snacks & Grocery at The Hershey Company, said the Reese’s Dipped Animal Crackers are “truly something to howl about.”
Reese’s wanted to put a new spin on this 120-year-old kids’ treats. Originally created by Stauffer’s Biscuit Company in 1871, these crackers have swept the cracker industry. In 1902, Nabisco tried its hands at these unique cookies, which they used to honor famous performer P.T. Barnum, renowned for showcasing exotic animals in circuses.
This isn’t the only new Reese’s offering keeping customers on their toes. In September, they debuted Reese’s Big Cup Stuffed with Reese’s Puffs, a completely unhinged yet amazingly delicious treat. If you love Reese’s flavored cereal, you can enjoy them stuffed in the center of the cups.
The Hershey Company, which owns Reese’s, wasted no time getting these on the shelves. Reese’s Dipped Animal Crackers are available both in grocery stores and online. Pricing at retailers nationwide may vary. It also remains unclear if this release is a limited edition, so don’t let procrastination get in the way of you and one of the most iconic snack releases this year.
