Donald Trump sat down with Sean Hannity in a Fox News interview Wednesday night when the subject of a New York Times article airing out Trump’s treatment of women in the workplace came up.
“By the way, you know, it’s not like the worst things, OK,” Trump countered. “You look at what Clinton’s gone through with all of the problems and all of the things that he’s done.”
Of course it wouldn’t be Fox News if they weren’t Team Trump. Hannity went on to question of the Times would have interviewed Juanita Broaddrick, Paula Jones and Kathleen Willey. Three have accused Bill Clinton of sexual misconduct in the past.
“Are they going to interview Juanita Broaddrick? … Paula Jones? … Kathleen Willey?” Hannity asked. “In one case, it’s about exposure. In another case, it’s about groping and fondling and touching against a woman’s will.”
“And rape,” Trump added.
“And rape,” Hannity repeated.
Trump went on to say that those cases resulted in “big settlements, massive settlements.”
The irony that Trump would speak on these accusations considering Trump’s former wife, Ivana, once accused him of raping her.
As part of her divorce deposition in the 90’s and in the book Lost Tycoon: The Many Lives of Donald J. Trump, Ivana Trump claimed she was forced into sex and violated by her husband.
The incident happened after Donald Trump took a visit to Ivana’s plastic surgeon for scalp reduction surgery to remove a bald spot. The procedure was very painful.
“Your fucking doctor has ruined me!” Trump cried, according to the book. it then goes on to say that Trump grabbed fistfuls of Ivana’s hair from her scalp, ripped off her clothes, then took off his pants.
“Then he jams his penis inside her for the first time in more than sixteen months. Ivana is terrified… It is a violent assault,” the author writes. “According to versions she repeats to some of her closest confidantes, ‘he raped me.’”
Following the assault Ivana ran upstairs and hid behind a locked door where she cried for the rest of the night.
Trump denied the allegations, and Ivana backtracked saying he didn’t “criminally” rape her. Trump’s lawyer even went on record as saying that you can’t “rape” a spouse.
Yeah, something ain’t right.
