It’s not really confidential news that Twitter has been strapped for cash since Elon Musk’s takeover. To solve this issue, Musk have rolled out many paid features and subscriptions to generate more cash.

His most recent attempt at a cash grab, is allegedly a new program called Verified for Organizations. The program allows major businesses and corporations to maintain their verified gold checkmark badge for a monthly payment of $1,000.

In addition to the $1,000 payments, organizations will also have to pay an additional $50 per month to verify their affiliated sub-accounts.

The new program comes apart of “Twitter Blue for Business” services. Through the verification process, accounts can be linked to affiliated individuals, businesses and brands. The linked accounts will receive a small badge with their primary account’s profile picture next to its checkmark.

Musk has not publicly confirmed the program just yet. However, the possibility cannot be ruled out, seeing as though Twitter is currently facing a number of lawsuits.

Nevertheless, Musk recently announced a new incentive for Twitter Blue subscribers. On Friday, Musk tweeted that the company will “share ad revenue with creators for ads that appear in their reply threads.”

Although Musk did not give any details about the feature, he did add that in order to receive payments, the user must have a Twitter Blue subscription.

To be eligible, the account must be a subscriber to Twitter Blue Verified
