In homage to Virgil Abloh, Louis Vuitton brings the highly-coveted encrusted crystal monogram denim sneakers.
The shoes are a part of the Spring/Summer 2023 collection. HYPEBEAST describes the shoes as a “chunky silhouette is fashioned in all-over canvas, while artistic designs lay atop, splattered in vibrant blue, green, pink, red, and yellow hues. Traditional comic book illustrations are found throughout, featuring Crayon-like pigmentation, large Louis Vuitton scripture, flames, motorcycles, and several variations of the House’s classic monogram logo.”
The sneakers retail for a whopping $1,360.00.
Louis Vuitton’s description for the sneakers says, “The iconic LV Trainer sneaker is revisited in canvas covered with colorful Louis Vuitton comic motifs inspired by the prints at the Spring-Summer 2023 men’s show. This model, which nods to vintage basketball sneakers, was created by Virgil Abloh. The #54 signature on the back refers to 1854, when Louis Vuitton was founded.”
The sneaker adds to LV’s collection of trainers from blue to a brown plaid.
