Two Men File Lawsuit Against Kodak Black And Justin Bieber Over 2022 After-Party Shooting

Two men who claim they were shot outside an LA venue after an after-party for a Justin Bieber concert during Super Bowl weekend last year are suing Bieber and Kodak Black.

TMZ obtained a copy of the lawsuit filed by Mark Schaefer and Adam Rahman, which names Kodak, Bieber, the City of Los Angeles, the City of West Hollywood as defendants, The Nice Guy, the Hwood Group, and Los Angeles County. The men are being repped by high-profile attorney Gloria Allred and seek damages.

The lawsuit is in connection to a shooting that occurred outside The Nice Guy in February of 2022, where three people, including Kodak, were shot. Kodak’s camp claims that he was jumped by an unknown assailant and tried to help a friend before shots were fired.

But the lawsuit claims that Kodak was actually a “major catalyst” behind the incident. They believe he escalated the situation, making it worse.

The complaint also described security at the venue as lax. Therefore, the alleged victims believe the venue, promoters, and performers should also be on the hook.

Bradford Cohen, Kodak’s attorney, called the lawsuit “poorly crafted” and told TMZ he expects his client will be dismissed from the suit.

“There is zero specificity in the complaint, and Ms. Allred groups the defendants all together instead of making specific allegations against each. It’s law school 101,” he said. “I am embarrassed for Ms. Allred that she actually signed her name to that complaint.”
