A 22-year-old police officer in Doraville, Georgia, Miles Bryant, was fired and arrested for allegedly concealing the death of a 16-year-old girl, Susana Morales.
Morales had been missing since July 26, 2022, and her remains were found near a highway in Gwinnett County on February 6.
Bryant was held in the county jail without bond and faces charges of falsely reporting a crime and concealing the death of another.
The case details and what led to Bryant’s arrest were not immediately available.
Doraville officials said they are cooperating with the Gwinnett County Police Department’s investigation.
