“Real Housewives of Potomac” fans aren’t the only ones fed up with Gizelle Bryant and Robyn Dixon. Now, Eminem has joined the hate train, coming after the women for their podcast name.

According to Page Six, on February 14th, Em filed an opposition against the reality stars’ trademark application for their podcast, “Reasonably Shady.” The Grammy award winner claims their podcast name will cause irreversible damage to his brand due to the name being too close to his moniker “Real Slim Shady,” which he has controlled since the late 90s and early 2000s. His single of the same name was released in 2000 and became a cultural phenomenon, going 7x platinum.

In his filing, the 50-year-old also stated that “Reasonably Shady” would cause his fans and other consumers to get confused. Dixon and Bryant filed the trademark with the intent to begin selling goods such as water bottles and lip glosses. Em currently owns the trademark for “Shady,” which is used for his merchandise, and “Slim Shady,” which is trademarked for entertainment purposes.

Dixon and Bryant have found off-camera success with their podcast since its launch in 2021. The women recently celebrated five million downloads of their show, which focuses on love, fashion, entrepreneurship, and all things womanhood. Their podcast is on iHeartRadio, Spotify, and Apple Podcast in collaboration with Charlamagne Tha God’s Black Effect coalition. Additionally, “Reasonably Shady” is now on Patreon, a subscription service that allows their fans several added bonuses.

As of now, neither Housewife has responded to Eminem’s opposition paperwork.
