Krispy Kreme has once again teamed up with Reese’s to re-introduce its chocolatey, peanut buttery donuts with a new taste.
The two companies have joined forces several times over the years to bring fans Reese’s inspired donuts. Each time, the treat was available for a limited time before making way for a new donut. When the latest Reese’s collection arrived at the bakery chain this time around, they came with a special twist. Each flavor possesses a slightly salty component.
According to a press release, customers have the option of the Salty Sweet Crunch Doughnut, a pastry stuffed with Reese’s peanut butter kreme and dipped in the famed peanut butter icing. To top it off, the Salty Sweet Crunch is drizzled in smooth milk chocolate icing with sea salt praline pretzels sprinkled about. Next up is the Reese’s Salty Sweet Crisp Doughnut. Like its Crunch sister, this Original Glazed doughnut is dipped in milk chocolate icing and uniquely topped with potato sticks, milk chocolate icing, peanut butter sauce, and peanut butter kreme filling inside. Lastly, fans can choose Reese’s Outrageous Doughnut. Another Original Glazed doughnut encased in milk chocolate icing, this beauty is sprinkled with mini Reese’s pieces. This third option wouldn’t be complete without the peanut butter sauce and salted caramel icing.
All three donuts are now available at participating Krispy Kreme locations until March 8th.
