Tim Norman

Former “Welcome to Sweetie Pie’s” star Tim Norman was sentenced to life in prison Thursday following his conviction in a murder-for-hire plot against his nephew.

This comes a week after the reality tv personality took to Instagram to maintain his innocence in the case.

Last September, Norman was found guilty on all charges, including conspiracy to commit murder-for-hire, murder-for-hire resulting in death, and mail fraud after being accused in 2020 of being the mastermind behind his nephew Andre Montgomery Jr.’s 2016 death. Court docs showed that in 2014 Norman took out a life insurance policy on Montgomery for $450,000.

Three others were also charged and pleaded guilty to their role in the plot.

The shooter, 31-year-old Travell Anthony Hill, was sentenced to 32 years in prison last October after pleading guilty for his involvement.

As part of his plea, Hill admitted to meeting up with Norman on the day Montgomery was shot and killed. He also said he understood that Tim wanted his nephew dead.

In November, Norman’s insurance agent, Waiel Rebhi Yaghnam, was sentenced to three years in prison after pleading guilty to conspiracy to commit mail and wire fraud.

This January, 39-year-old Terica Ellis was sentenced to three years in prison after pleading to a charge of conspiracy to commit murder-for-hire. She previously testified that Norman paid her $10,000 to help him find Montgomery. However, she claimed that she did not know he would be killed.
