Pooh Shiesty has been hit with another punishment behind bars, now being ordered to pay restitution to victims of the shootout that landed him behind bars.
The 23-year-old must fork over $150k to two men injured during a sneaker and drug transaction gone wrong in 2020. While Shiesty is currently serving five years and three months in prison, some of the money he’s earned while behind bars must go towards the payment.
Prosecutors initially sought $1,149,828.43 from Shiesty and his co-defendants, Bobby Brown and Jayden Darosa. However, Shiesty’s attorney Bradford Cohen called the figure a “judicial shakedown.” Eventually, a figure of $156,585 was settled upon.

The restitution had been confirmed during Shiesty’s sentencing, so he’d likely expected to pay the money at some point. Despite this bill, the 1017 signee is unphased, having penned a now-deleted lengthy Instagram caption days ago, letting it be known he’s still a high earner.
“Yeah, I’m locked up, not f***ed up. I was 21 up 8 figures,” he wrote.
Shiesty, whose real name is Lontrell Denell Williams Jr., has continued his music career while incarcerated, releasing “Shiesty Season: Certified,” a deluxe version of his popular 2021 debut mixtape. This re-release featured verses from EST Gee, Lil Durk, his label head Gucci Mane, and the late Big Scarr. His single, “See Red,” has also gone on to be certified gold during his detention.
Looks like the young rapper will have no problem paying his restitution bill, as he is still the self-proclaimed “King of Memphis.”
