According to Atlanta rapper T.I., he and Boosie Badazz have resolved their conflict, which was apparently a misunderstanding. In an interview with TMZ, T.I. said that the dispute had been settled, as there was a miscommunication. The two had planned to release a joint album, but it was scrapped when Boosie criticized T.I. for confessing to framing his deceased relative for a gun charge before his rise to fame in the early 2000s.
“It was a misunderstanding,” said T.I. He added that Boosie knew his statements weren’t entirely accurate but said the situation would be handled “offline,” which is “the way it should’ve been in the first place.”
The conflict between the two arose when a clip from an August 2020 episode of T.I.’s podcast, “ExpediTIously,” resurfaced. In the clip, T.I. recounted an incident involving him and his cousin Toot.

According to T.I., the pair were involved in a scheme in their hometown of Atlanta that involved selling high-end clothing that had been stolen. However, they were stopped by the police during the operation, and a firearm was found in T.I.’s possession.
Upon the advice of his attorney and with the approval of his deceased cousin, Toot, T.I. avoided imprisonment by asserting that the firearm belonged to his cousin.
Nevertheless, Boosie disagreed with T.I.’s blaming his cousin for the crime. Additionally, Boosie also labeled him a “damn snitch,” causing their collaborative album to be canceled.
“With the T.I. situation, if he did that, you’re a fcking rat too,” Boosie said. “I don’t spare no muthafckin’ body. Because if you are doing anything wrong or criminal and you cooperate with law enforcement to get you out of trouble, that means you’re cooperating, and that means you’re a rat.”
