A new dining venture opening in Tennessee will sport the world’s longest bar for maximum drinking and dining capability.
The highly anticipated Humble Baron restaurant will open on March 23rd inside the Nearest Green Distillery in Shelbyville. It will serve as not only an eatery but a live performance venue with a massive bar area. The 525-foot-long bar wraps around the entire stage, allowing guests to enjoy shows without leaving their barstools, according to the press release. The previous record holder is the 405-foot-long bar at the Beer Barrel Saloon in Put-in-Bay, South Bass Island, Ohio.
Celebrity Chef G. Garvin created the Humble Baron menu, and Atlanta chef Jay Craddick, who has over 18 years of knowledge in the field of Southern cooking, will serve as executive chef.
The Grand Opening Weekend is expected to draw huge crowds, with the bar being a main attraction, along with performances by American Idol’s HunterGirl, and international DJ BOVA. The Nearest Green Distillery already saw over 110,000 visitors over the past year, so the new bar is likely to increase this number drastically.
Humble Baron’s primary goal is to allow an entertainment viewing experience like none other. The environment encourages patrons to enjoy live music without ever having to leave their cocktails.
“Humble Baron is a place where everyone has a seat at the table,” the news release read.
Kenny Burns will also be hosting a live podcast taping at the restaurant along with BOVA on Saturday, March 25th, at 2:00 p.m., followed by a day party from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
