Twitter Reacts To Angela Bassett’s Reaction To Oscars Snub

Another pop culture moment has happened, and it doesn’t involve Renaissance vs. Harry House. This time it’s the Oscars vs. Angela Bassett.

Bassett was passed up at the Oscars for Best Supporting Actress in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever to Jamie Lee Curtis in Everything Everywhere All At Once.

Curtis won her first Oscar and had the crowd cheering when it was announced she got the award. The ABC cameras showed the ladies’ reactions to the award, including Basset and Curtis, along with Stephanie Hsu in Everything Everywhere All At Once, Hong Chau in The Whale, and Kerry Condon in The Banshees of Inisherin.

Bassett didn’t clap nor stand for Curtis when she received the award; instead, she nodded nicely. However, some are still reacting to her reaction. Twitter is now reacting to Bassett’s reaction.
