Krispy Kreme “Good as Gold” Line-Up Is Capturing The Essence Of St. Patrick’s Day

Just when you thought Krispy Kreme couldn’t get any better, the brand has introduced a few new doughnut options to commemorate St. Patrick’s Day.

The tasty warm doughnuts are now available in four limited-edition flavors, known as the “Good as Gold” menu. First up is the Golden Cookies & Kreme, a golden cookie Kreme-filled doughnut dipped in white icing and dusted with a gold sprinkle mixture. The Rainbow Kreme is an unglazed doughnut stuffed with the company’s iconic White Kreme, topped with green frosting, and then completed with vanilla buttercream and gold coin sprinkles. Then there is the Golden Sprinkle, a spin on the famous Original Glazed doughnut, only this time it’s dipped in green icing and finished with a gold St. Patrick’s Day sprinkles mix. Lastly, the Hat O’ Gold is an iced chocolate doughnut crowned with a leprechaun hat sugar piece and adorned with a green icing design.

To push the St. Patty’s tradition even further, Krispy Kreme is giving its Original Glazed doughnuts a green hue, which can be ordered by the dozen. These festive treats arrived in locations on March 9th and are expected to be available through the end of the month. Customers who show up to Krispy Kreme on March 16th and March 17th wearing green will be rewarded with a free Original Glazed Doughnut.
