Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott had a change of heart regarding their son’s name and have filed legal documents to grant him a new one.
The model and music producer reportedly are unhappy with the name Wolfe Jacques Webster, which they dubbed the baby over a year ago. Instead, they petitioned for the name Aire Webster. Jenner and Scott decided to ditch Jacques as the child’s middle name. According to the sources, this was to allow their son to have his own individual identity someday and not live in his father’s shadows. Scott’s full name is Jacques Bermon Webster II.
The swap may have taken a while to orchestrate, but last March, the couple expressed regret about their baby’s name. They felt that after spending quality time with the precious baby boy, the name Aire was a better fit. It is a Hebrew name that reportedly means “Lion of God.” Both parents signed off on the petition and are currently waiting for the courts to finalize the name change.
Jenner and Scott share a five-year-old daughter, Stormi. Interestingly, Jenner says she also changed her daughter’s name last minute. She says she wanted to give her daughter one of several “nature names” that were “weather and earth-inspired.”
“Storm was on there, just Storm. And then I was like, I kinda want ‘-ie,’ like me, so then I did Stormie with ‘-ie,'” she told makeup expert James Charles back in 2021.
The final name change is still pending within the courts.
