Kanye West says he’s no longer an antisemite and credits actor Jonah Hill for his recent change of views on the Jewish community.
West made an Instagram post Friday night, saying he was watching the 2012 film, “21 Jump Street,” which stars Hill, and had an epiphany about the Jewish race.
“Watching Jonah Hill in 21 jump street made me like Jewish people again. No one should take anger against one or two individuals and transform that into hatred towards millions of innocent people.”
“No Christian can be labeled antisemite knowing Jesus is Jew. Thank you Jonah Hill. I love you.”
It’s a stark change of opinion following his recent professed love for Hitler and his rants against Jews as he alluded to issues he had with some execs in the music industry.
He doubled down on his stance against Jewish people when he appeared on conspiracy theorist Alex Jones’ “Infowars” and during his interview with Piers Morgan. However, he did point out that he was only speaking about Jewish people who had done him wrong.
Ye raised concern when he was spotted hanging with white nationalist Nick Fuentes. The two traveled to Mar-a-Lago to have dinner with Donald Trump.
West’s actions led to a crushing downfall that ended friendships and business deals. And he received the title “Antisemite of the Year” in 2022 from a watchdog group called StopAntisemitism.
