Things got a little heated during the Season 10 reunion of Basketball Wives.
During the show, Brooke Bailey called out Jackie Christie for not being a supportive friend following the passing of her daughter Kayla.
Last year, Kayla died in a tragic car accident.
Brooke started, “Can I please say something for a minute because my heart is pounding a 100 miles a min because you sit here and say how great of a friend you’ve been to people, but I really feel like your not.” She continued, “and the reason why is because when my daughter passed away you didn’t even send one flower. You been in LA and you didn’t even come to knock on my door to give me a hug or just to sit next to me quietly. You showed absolutely no support.”
Jackie responded, “first of all I didn’t know what to say and I am so sorry. It wasnt that I didnt show support but I did call you.” She said, “I am glad we are having this conversation because I knew it would be a touchy situation when I saw you again because it hurt my heart when I heard about your daughter. I sat and I cried for hours, I have two daughters.”
“I didn’t call you, but it hurt my heart that this happened to you. So much has happened with you and your husband.” She said “I sat in your house and talked to you for hours. So don’t sit here telling me that I am not a good friend ’cause that’s a lie.”
Jackie said, “Brooke, I didn’t know what to say,” to which Brooke responded, “You didn’t have to say anything. Everybody was going through emotions.”
Eventually, Brittish Williams and Brandi Maxiell chimed in saying that they expected more from Jackie since she claims to be the glue that holds the group together.
Things took a turn when Jackie started to get rowdy by putting her fingers in Brooke’s face.
“Imma leave it like this, I am sorry. Period,” Jackie said.
Ultimately, the two ended things in a shouting match with Brandy in the middle trying to keep them apart.
In the end, most of the cast believed the Jackie should’ve took accountability for her actions.
