Fans who attended the final date of Lil Wayne‘s Welcome To Tha Carter Tour were left with a bad experience as he abruptly canceled the show in the middle of his performance.

Weezy arrived in Los Angeles, California on Saturday for a concert at The Wiltern Theatre in Koreatown. For those unable to attend the show in person, there was an option to watch the live-stream for a fee of $15. The concerts’ start time was scheduled for 9 p.m. PDT, but Wayne didn’t take the stage until after 10 p.m.

The show seemed to be going well until Wayne got to the middle of his performance. During a brief intermission, Lil Wayne instructed his Young Money artists, including Lil Twist, Yaj Kader, and Allan Cubas, to entertain the audience. However, just as Cubas was about to perform his second track, Wayne returned to the stage, took the microphone, and expressed that they were not receiving enough support from the crowd, prompting him to conclude the show.

“We appreciate it. But we ain’t about to be bending over backwards for these folks. We work too hard for this sh*t. We work way too hard,” Wayne told Cubas. He then addresses the audience saying, “This my muthaf*ckin’ artist Allan, that was Twist, that was Yaj; we are Young Money. We appreciate y’all time.”

Subsequently, Wayne placed the microphone down and gestured to his crew, indicating that it was time to leave. This unexpected turn left numerous fans confused, as they anticipated Wayne’s return to the stage. However, after approximately 10 minutes of fans exchanging puzzled looks and some chanting “Weezy,” the lights were raised, and attendees were instructed to vacate the venue.

No explanation was provided by either Lil Wayne or his team regarding the cancellation of the show.
