Gunna is denying that he dissed Lil Baby in his new track, Bread & Butter.

Early Friday, fans speculated the rapper took shots at Lil Baby and Lil Durk in his new release which he raps about the allegations surrounding the RICO case he took a plea deal in December 2022.

“That’s cap,” he commented on Akademiks Instagram post. Akademiks had accused Gunna of dissing Lil Baby on the song.

“I’m Just letting the world hear my story,” Gunna said in another caption.

On Friday, Atlanta rapper Gunna released his first song since being released from jail and it seems as if he’s throwing some disses at both Lil Baby and Lil Durk.

In his song “Bread & Butter,” Gunna raps about a high-profile legal case that’s been a hot topic over the past several months. The rapper took a controversial plea deal in the YSL RICO case against YSL and fellow Atlanta rapper Young Thug.

His plea deal has left many calling him a snitch.

“F**k I pay the lawyers all those mills for?/ Just so I won’t have to say a word to dodge a railroad,” the rapper said. “Never gave no statement or agreed to take no stand on ’em/ On whatever you n-ggas on, then trust me, I’ma stand on it/ Lawyers and the D.A. did some sneaky sh**, I fell for it/ On my Ps and Qs because this time, I be prepared for it.”

At the beginning of the track, Gunna seemingly implies he was tricked by both the Fulton County District Attorney and lawyers.

Still, it doesn’t seem like Gunna’s legal case has stopped him from making threats. He warned those who have dissed him over the matter that he can have them “hit.”

“Never f***** a n-gga, always stayed solid/ Kept it real with n-ggas, never lied and always stay honest/ Love my bro so much, I never change on ’em/ Hunna Wunna goin’ do the work, bring you the damn profits.”

He then went on to address Lil Baby, or so it seems, despite their past collaborations.

“Peepin’ sh**, I’m seein’ n-ggas fall back/ You b***h-ass n-ggas got me as the topic of the chat/ You switched on me when you know you in business with a rat/ And the boy that’s like your brother, and nobody speak on that,” he continues.

“The city see it clearly if I had to state a fact/ You still f**k with a n-gga that done got yo’ partner wacked/ Had these n-ggas talkin’, only knew ’em ’cause of Slatt/ You rap boys need more streams, heard he put my name on wax.”

The lyrics possibly have something to do with the recent rumors surrounding Lil Baby’s label boss, Quality Control Music co-founder Pierre “P” Thomas. Last month, paperwork was revealed alleging P had collaborated with the police in 2010 after his friend was murdered.

All allegations the CEO has publicly denied.

Gunna also went on to suggest Lil Baby had something to do with his own friend—Lil Marlo—death. “you still f**k with a n-gga that done got yo’ partner wacked.”

The “Pushin’ P” rapper’s choice of words could also be directed at Lil Durk, who previously dissed him in a song for snitching and spoke out about what he should have done in an interview with Akademiks.
