A man is behind bars after driving at high rates of speed on a highway and in the city of Albany with a woman clinging to the hood of the car.Â
Bishop Fraser, 20, was arrested by multiple agencies and arraigned on Saturday. He was remanded to Albany County Correctional on a $40,000 bond.Â
At about 12:08 p.m. on Friday, New York State Police were called about a car traveling at a high rate of speed on I-787 in Colonie with a female riding on the hood of the car. Troopers responded to the location but were unable to locate the vehicle.Â
Albany Police received a call around 12:15 p.m. about a man driving with a woman on the hood of the vehicle in the area of Henry Johnson Boulevard and Livingston Avenue. Officers located the car in the area of First and Judson Streets, where they arrested Fraser.Â
Fraser is facing multiple counts of reckless endangerment in the first and second degree, along with multiple counts of unlawful imprisonment.Â
The 19-year-old woman was located by police and determined to be unharmed.Â
Video of the wild ride surfaced on social media, quickly going viral. The video shows the unidentified woman clinging to the hood of a blue Chevy Cavalier with her sneakers resting in front of her and her phone in her hand.Â
