Actor and comedian Tracy Morgan was reportedly involved in a serious car accident leaving him critically injured. Morgan’s limo-bus was involved in a multiple vehicle crash in New Jersey and overturned around 1am Saturday morning. The crash involved the bus, two tractor-trailers, a sports utility vehicle and two other vehicles. Morgan’s bus is the only vehicle that overturned.Â
Morgan was airlifted to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Center in New Brunswick, New Jersey, in critical condition and is in intensive care according to a state police spokesperson. Seven people were injured in the crash. Comedian James McNair, another passenger of the limo-bus, was killed in the accident. Police do not think alcohol was a factor in the accident.Â
Morgan’s publicist, Lewis Kay, released a statement that reads, “Tracy remains in critical condition at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital.  He sustained these injuries in an accident that occurred early this morning as one of several passengers in a chauffeured SUV returning from a tour date in Delaware. His family is now with him and he is receiving excellent care.  We don’t anticipate much of a change in his condition today but will provide a further update once more information becomes available.”
