It wouldn’t be Summer without Chick-fil-A bringing back some seasonal favs, and this time the chicken chain is feeling a bit peachy.
On Thursday, Chick-fil-A announced the return of its famous Peach Milkshake. Originally introduced in 2009, the handspun soft serve shake is blended with peaches and served with whipped cream and a cherry on top. Since its debut 14 years ago, the Peach Milkshake has become a seasonal favorite, appearing during the hotter season each year.
Also making a return is the White Peach Sunjoy. This mixed mocktail-adjacent drink mixes lemonade with freshly-brewed sweetened iced tea and a splash of white peach flavors. It was initially introduced in 2018 and became an instant hit amongst customers. Like the Peach Milkshake, the Sunjoy typically re-emerges each Summer, sending fans flocking to locations across the country.
In addition to the fruity sips, Chick-fil-A is also testing a new grilled chicken sandwich that is sure to grab the attention of curious foodies. The Maple Pepper Bacon Sandwich is made with a savory lemon herb-marinated chicken breast that is grilled and then topped with pepper jack cheese, bacon tossed in brown sugar, and lettuce. The handheld is served atop a toasted maple-flavored brioche bun. As of now, only customers in Indianapolis, Indiana, and Lexington, Kentucky, will have a chance to taste this latest creation.
For customers nationwide, kick off the Summer fun with both beverages starting on June 12th. They are typically available through the remainder of the season. Both can be ordered in person or via the Chick-fil-A app and website.
