Joseline Hernandez has broken her silence about her “College Hill” fight with model Amber Rose.
The rapper and influencer sat down with The Breakfast Club, where she dished on what really happened. According to the “Love & Hip-Hop Atlanta,” star she took issue with Rose not embracing her blackness despite being biracial. Hernandez was born in Puerto Rico but identifies as a Black woman. She explained that she comes from a long heritage of Black women on her native island and is incredibly proud to be one of them.
“You came out of a Black p***y, but you don’t wanna say you Black. That’s weird to me,” Hernandez stated. “I always thought she considered herself Black until I really seen that she was a Karen when I got there.”
Hernandez and Rose both starred in this season’s “College Hill: Celebrity Edition,” enrolling at Alabama State University. The ladies quickly began bumping heads on the series, which boiled over into a vicious classroom brawl that BET and ASU decided not to air, much to the viewer’s disappointment. Hernandez, who claimed to have been a jokester in high school, admitted that she was being a “class clown” initially, but things escalated.
Elsewhere in the chat, DJ Envy asked Hernandez about Big Lex, to which she quickly responded, “Don’t know that h**.” Hernandez ended up in jail after fighting Lex at the Floyd Mayweather fight in Miami earlier this month. While the case is ongoing and Hernandez couldn’t speak much on it, she did reveal that she was selling merchandise with her mugshot on it, making a positive out of her latest misfortunes.
