Just when you thought the MSCHF Big Red Boot was a social experiment that the world had moved past, they have been re-imagined with a Crocs makeover.
The company behind multiple quirky fashion inventions has officially partnered with the comfort shoe brand to present the remix to its viral shoe that took over social media earlier this year. In the new rendition, MSCHF stays true to its enlarged rounded toe and slender upper, but this time, they added holes and the classic Crocs strap to the back of the boot.
Fans of the Big Red Boot got their first look at the Big Yellow Boot during Paris Fashion Week. Musician Tommy Cash sported the bright footwear paired with a black and white striped mime outfit front row at the Rick Owens runway show. Crocs and MSCHF also shared images of Cash on their social media platforms.

It appears that Cash may have scored an exclusive pair as the two companies continue to iron out the intricate details of the new shoe. Performers such as Coi Leray, Janelle Monae, Fivio Foreign, and Lil Wayne were all spotted rocking the Big Red Boots when they invaded the fashion world this year, so the summertime version is sure to attract the whose-who in pop culture.
The Big Red Boots retailed at $350, so it’s safe to assume the latest colorway and collab will be around the same price point. As of now, there has been no official release date for the Big Yellow Boot.
