Future is racking up some commas. The Atlanta rapper has become Lanvin’s creative director for the brand’s inaugural Lab collection.
News broke Friday that the “Fly Sh** Only” artist has been called on to design a capsule under the Lanvin Lab umbrella. According to a news release, the collection will mark a celebration of a “groundbreaking and individualistic vision that bridges a gap between music and fashion.”
“Future is a visionary whose artistic influence extends way beyond music and entertainment and resonates throughout broad swathes of contemporary culture today,” a statement sent to Highsnobiety reads.
“Lanvin is delighted to partner with Future, whose innovation and originality have reshaped the worlds of music and entertainment.”
The collection, which is expected to be released this fall, will include ready-to-wear pieces and accessories for all genders.
Lanvin Lab is described as “a space to dream and play.” The brand is inviting guest designers across the entertainment industry to collaborate on their collections. Music will be the focus of Lanvin’s first chapter.
