Ralph Pittman Addresses His Separation From ‘RHOA’ Star Drew Sidora: “I Sincerely Apologize For My Part In The Deterioration Of Our Relationship”

Ralph Pittman is apologizing and taking accountability for his actions that led to his divorce from Drew Sidora.

Pittman recently expressed his remorse for his part in the separation from the 38-year-old ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ star in an exclusive statement with PEOPLE. He also shares his aspirations for the future and his intention to progress.

“I love my wife with all my heart. It is no secret that marriage is a challenging journey, one that is not for the faint of heart,” he said. “My family means the world to me and I’ve dedicated myself to providing support, encouragement and acting as a pillar of strength for my wife and children.”

Pittman continued, “Although we know the real reason that ultimately led to my request for divorce. I’m taking this time to be more introspective and working to become the best version of myself. I stand by my response to the petition however I sincerely apologize for my part in the deterioration of our relationship. As seasons change, I’m hopeful and optimistic for brighter days ahead.”

Earlier this year, Sidora claimed Pittman engaged in multiple instances of infidelity and was both mentally and financially abusive towards her. She also alleged that her estranged spouse was physically abusive towards her at one point.

According to Sidora, the situation escalated when certain problems within their marriage began to unfold in front of cameras, adding an additional layer of embarrassment to the existing challenges they were facing privately.

“[It was] definitely the breaking point and enough is enough,” she said. “And I didn’t see that coming. Of course I was forever, but it was like [there was] nothing else left for me to hold onto because the behavior and inappropriateness just never stopped. It was just too much.”
