Actor Jonathan Major has reportedly filed an NYPD domestic violence complaint of his own against the alleged victim in his assault case. He’s alleging that his ex-girlfriend Grace Jabbari attacked him, not the other way around, during a March 25 dispute in Manhattan’s Chinatown.

Insider reports that the “Creed” star filed a domestic violence incident report at a precinct last Wednesday, one day after his June 20 appearance at Manhattan Criminal Court. The outlet reports Majors alleged in the report and sworn affidavit that “a ‘drunk and hysterical’ Jabbari scratched, slapped, and grabbed at his face, causing pain and bleeding.” He said the next morning, his face was “stuck to the pillow because of the blood from the cut” that Jabbari gave him by digging her thumbnail into him. He also admitted that he did grab her in the taxi, but it was only to pull her back into the car as she was trying to get out.

“I was worried she would be hurt by traffic. So I physically picked her up and put her in the car,” the incident report reads.

Two days after Majors filed his complaint, NYPD issued an “incident card,” or “I-Card,” which gives police probable cause to take Jabbari into custody, at least for questioning, Majors’ defense attorney Priya Chaudhry and a law enforcement source told the outlet. However, they stated, at the district attorney’s office’s urging, the “I-Card” was deactivated.

Majors additionally accused Jabari of running up his credit card without authorization and running off with his ” Rolex vintage watch and other luxury items that cost $6,000 – $7,000.”

Majors remains charged in the criminal case against him in New York City, which is expected to go to trial on August 3.
