Tennessee Titans running back Hassan Haskins was arrested on Thursday after an argument with his girlfriend turned violent.
He was charged with aggravated assault by strangulation and released on a $10,000 bond later the same day.
Haskins’ girlfriend, Makiah Green, was also arrested and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, aggravated assault by strangulation, and vandalism. Her bond was set at $2,500 for each charge which she posted.
Both Haskins and Green are scheduled to appear in court on July 10.
According to the arrest warrant, the couple argued on June 22 over Green liking another man’s Instagram post. After the two began to argue, Green entered Haskins’ closet and threw his shoes on the ground.
The fight escalated, and Haskins “began to strangle her with both hands” for an estimated “10 to 15 seconds.” Green stood up, and the pair slapped each other before she fell on a dog crate. Haskins strangled her for a second time, and the fight ended after he let her go and left the house.
A second argument occurred on June 29 at a restaurant, with both Haskins and Green leaving separately. The fighting continued once Green arrived back home, resulting in her arrest.
The Titans issued a statement on Friday, saying, “We are aware of the situation and gathering additional information.”
The team selected Haskins in the fourth round as the No. 131 overall pick out of Michigan. He played 15 games with one start. He had 25 carries for a total of 93 yards.

I will never understand this. Turn around and leave. IDC what is upsetting you. Nothing is worth what comes with this foolishness. Especially when you’re the one in the NFL and can get 10 more of her tomorrow.
Wow! Are there any decent, real men left? In the news daily there is some coward brutalizing women and girls, these “men” are cowards.
