Fortunately, Flo Rida’s son has successfully recuperated after a harrowing incident where he fell from his apartment window. However, the building manager believes that he isn’t responsible for the incident.
According to court records, Goldberg Management, the property management firm overseeing the residence where six-year-old Zohar Dillard lives, has submitted a motion to dismiss on Wednesday. The legal representatives representing the management company have explicitly refuted any liability for Zohar’s accident.
In her lawsuit filed on behalf of her son, Alexis Adams is pursuing an unspecified amount of compensation from Goldberg Management, Carlos Machado, and Pitch Perfect 74 LLC. Adams is accusing these entities of collectively contributing to her son’s devastating fall.
If you’re unaware, Zohar fell from a five-story height in March at his New Jersey apartment building. Zohar is a special needs child with a brain condition called hydrocephalus. As a result of the fall, he suffered a shattered pelvis, metatarsal fractures, a liver laceration, internal bleeding, and collapsed lungs.
“As a single mom to a special needs child, this feels like a nightmare,” Adams said. “It is devastating to see my child go through such pain and trauma knowing that this could’ve been avoided.”
As of now, Adams is seeking unspecified compensation for the medical treatment of Zohar’s injuries.
