For the second time in a few months Mike Epps has been accused of assaulting someone. First he allegedly punched a fellow female comic he was rumored to have been in a secret affair with and now he is being accused of assaulting a comedian who made a parody Instagram video about his feud with Kevin Hart.
In the 15-second clip Atlanta comedian, Lavar Walker, made a parody of Epps and Harts Twitter feud. Walker’s lawyer said Mike Epps didn’t like the parody and came after Walker with his entourage at a Northwest Atlanta comedy club on Saturday night. Epps asked Walker to step outside then had two of his entourage members beat him. Another local comedian said he saw what happened, “I was shocked by it all to go down like that, especially with Mike Epps who’s supposed to be a superstar. Why would he get involved in something?”
Witnesses say Walker never knew what hit him and never fought back. Fellow comedian, Bo Micadellic said he witnessed the incident. When it was all over Micadellic recalls, “Mike Epps walked back out the deck, looked at Lavar and said, ‘Are you going to call the police now?’ And then he said, ‘Don’t make any more videos of me.’”
Walker called the police and was transported to Grady Hospital.
This is the video that supposedly started it all.
All this over an Instagram video? Mike Epps took to his Twitter to deny rumors that he had any involvement in Walker’s beating.
