Court documents obtained by RadarOnline.com reveal that Marc Daly, the estranged husband of reality star Kenya Moore, has requested that she be held in contempt of court.
Per the court docs, Marc is upset that Brooklyn was in the vicinity while Real Housewives of Atlanta (RHOA) star Marlo Hampton allegedly attempted to forcefully enter Kenya’s hotel room where Brooklyn was sleeping.
Before their divorce, Kenya and Marc were involved in a custody dispute where Kenya sought primary custody. During this legal battle, Marc contested Brooklyn’s participation on the RHOA.
A judge granted Kenya sole custody of Brooklyn, while Marc would have visitation rights. The judge ruled that the minor could still appear on RHOA with certain limitations and restrictions in place.
In the court ruling, Kenya was granted the authority to make the final decision regarding Brooklyn’s involvement in RHOA and any other economic opportunities as long as she consulted with Marc first.
“[Kenya] shall notify [Marc] of any opportunity where the minor child will appear on camera and shall advise [Marc] of the content of the appearance; the minor child will only be involved in opportunities that are age appropriate.”
In a recently filed motion, Marc alleges that Kenya has breached the court order by featuring Brooklyn prominently in a Home Run Inn Pizza commercial without discussing it with him.
According to Marc, he found out about the commercial through the internet, suggesting a lack of communication and involvement on his part.
Further, he said the court order stated, “[Marc] shall be allowed daily telephonic, and/or video visitation with the minor child.”
He added that he “repeatedly requests calls and Facetime with [Brooklyn], and provides available times” but claims Kenya fails to respond. He said he’s only talked to Brooklyn twice in June and accused Kenya of refusing to “cooperate with in-person visits.”
Marc requested that the court consider Kenya’s conduct during the divorce trial and requested her to be responsible for his legal fees regarding the motion he filed.
