Meek Mill is showing his support for Tory Lanez, shouting him out during his recent show overseas.
The Dream Chaser head huncho headlined the Rolling Loud Portugal on Friday, July 7th. After getting the crowd hype with a performance of his and Lanez’s 2016 track, “Litty,” he shouted, “Free Tory Lanez.” Once video of this was shared online, Twitter wasted no time dragging the Philly rapper for supporting the man convicted of shooting Megan Thee Stallion.

Despite so much backlash, Meek stands beside his statements and says he wants all his fellow rap colleagues to be freed from the slammer.
“I say free Young Thug…free Lucci…free Melly. I don’t even know why ya’ll start dealing with us if yall gonna try to smear us. That’s why I stick to the trenches,” she stated in an IG Threads rant. When sharing his statement on his Story, Meek added that he does not have a “controlled voice” and has friends that are locked up for murders they did not commit. Remaining active on Instagram, Meek has shuttered his Twitter amid the backlash.

Meanwhile, Lanez is awaiting sentencing, which is scheduled for August 7th. Since the crooner is facing at least 13 years and possible deportation back to Canada, Meek Mill may be calling for his freedom for the next decade.
