Khloe Kardashian is defending her family and even Blac Chyna following a viral clip claiming she was her niece Dream’s “third parent.”
If you’ve been keeping up with “The Kardashians,” then you’ve likely seen the recent clip floating around where Khloe and Scott Disick are talking about the many children in their lives. During the chat, they bring up Chyna’s and Rob Kardashian’s daughter, Dream, who is now six.
“I can’t believe that you’re basically, like, somewhat of a co-parent to Dream,” Disick told Khloe before adding, “You’re like more than an aunt.”
She responded that she considered herself a “third parent” or a “third wheel.” In her confessional, she expounded on her comments, calling Dream one of her babies, and shared that she views all of her siblings’ children this way. What was a sweet declaration of her love for the kids was quickly twisted on social media. Many users began slamming Chyna and Rob for allegedly neglecting the adorable little girl and leaving Khloe to pick up the pieces. The Good American founder wasted no time shutting down the mean-spirited gossip, reiterating that she simply loves the child, as do her parents.
“I love ALL of my nieces and nephews more than I can express. Dream and I are particularly close. My brother and I are extremely close. I am with Dream all the time because I’m with my brother all of the time,” she wrote on her Instagram Story.
Rob, who doesn’t participate in his family’s reality show endeavors, welcomed Dream with Chyna on November 10th, 2016. The two were engaged at the time but ended things soon after, with abuse allegations being hurled from both sides. Despite their legal feuds, Chyna has not kept Dream away from her Kardashian relatives. Even with past turmoil between the IG model turned evangelist, Khloe also acknowledged Chyna’s love for Dream.

Chyna has not responded to social media hinting at her being an absentee mother, but kudos to Khloe for standing up for both parents.
