Nearly 27 years after the murder of Tupac Shakur, Las Vegas police have probed a home as part of the investigation into his murder.

According to 8 News Now, renewed search efforts to find the killer of the late “All Eyez On Me” star were conducted on Monday. That is when police executed a warrant at a residence near Interstate 11 and Wagon Wheel Drive in Henderson, which is about 20 minutes from Las Vegas. As of now, it is unknown what led authorities to the home or what might’ve been found inside. However, it seems to be one of the most viable leads in recent years.

The search arrives almost a year after Death Row Records’ former head of security, Reggie Wright Jr., gave an interview with “Bomb1st,” where he hinted at the investigation into the unsolved murder was moving closer toward an arrest. According to Wright, Duane “Keefe D” Davis was the focus of the probe, but it’s unclear if Monday’s search was linked to him in any way. He previously claimed to have witnessed the murder, while some have pointed to him as being the assassin. Still, no one has ever been apprehended. Many suspected shooting of Tupac stemmed from the infamous East Coast-West Coast beef of the 90s. The bi-coastal feud led to Pac’s death on September 13th, 1996, and his rival, Notorious B.I.G., being murdered shortly after on March 9th, 1997, while in Los Angeles. His case remains unsolved as well.

Throughout the years, countless documentaries have examined the links between both men and their demise. While many rumors have emerged, no one has been held responsible for either slaying.
