Former Real Housewives of Atlanta star NeNe Leakes‘ son Bryson Bryant was arrested earlier this month on drug possession.
Based on court documents obtained by RadarOnline.com, Bryson was arrested on July 3 for felony possession of Fentanyl.
According to the criminal arrest warrant, the incident occurred at approximately 1 AM at a residence in Lawrenceville, Georgia. Apart from the drug offense, Bryson was also hit with a misdemeanor charge of “loitering/prowling.”
The police affidavit further states that Bryson was allegedly at the mentioned address, attempting to evade the police while falsely claiming to know the residents of the home.
While being questioned, Bryson falsely identified himself as his younger brother, Brentt Leakes, which led to the criminal case being filed under Brentt’s name.
According to jail records, Bryson was booked into Gwinnett County Jail at approximately 2:36 AM with a $5,900 bond. The booking sheet mistakenly listed him under Brentt’s name, and he was released at 12:20 PM.
In addition to the fake name, Bryson gave officers an old address to one of Nene’s former residences.
Bryson was hit with an additional charge of “giving a false name, address, or birthdate to a law enforcement officer.” The updated documents list Bryson Rashard Bryant with a birthdate of 12/26/1989.
Jail records indicate he has been re-arrested and is currently in custody.
