Cameron Newton wants his Bentley back. The former NFL quarterback recently filed court documents demanding his ex-girlfriend return the luxury ride.
Newton dated Shakia “Kia” Proctor from 2013 to 2019 and shares three sons and a daughter with her.
According to court documents obtained by Radar Online, the former Carolina Panthers star said there is a dispute over a 2017 Bentley Bentayga he allegedly purchased in May 2018 under his sole name. He also claims he allowed Proctor to “use [it] while they were in a romantic relationship.”
“In 2019, the relationship ended, and [Proctor] moved out of [Newton’s] residence,” the lawsuit said.
“As part of the moveout process, [Newton] allowed [Proctor] to use the Car to move her things out of Plaintiff’s residence with the understanding that the Car would be promptly returned,” the suit read. “[Proctor] never returned the vehicle to [Newton] after she moved out of [Newton’s] residence.”
Newton says he has asked for the Bentley numerous times but hasn’t received it from his children’s mother, leaving him to take the matter to court.
