If you love Subway sandwiches, then you’ll have a chance to win a lifetime of free subs under one condition.
The sandwich franchise recently announced that they would offer a lifetime of complimentary subs to an individual if the person agrees to legally change their first name to “Subway.” As per the official contest regulations, the lifetime supply will be given as a single payment of $50,000 in Subway gift cards. Furthermore, the company will grant the winner an additional $750 to assist with the expenses related to the legal process of changing their name.
From August 1st to August 4th, individuals can participate and enter the contest at SubwayNameChange.com for an opportunity to win. The fortunate winner will be selected through a random drawing, which will take place on August 7th.
The inspiration behind the contest stems from the tremendous success of Subway’s latest introduction: the deli hero sandwiches. This new line of sandwiches was launched earlier in July, coinciding with the implementation of deli slicers in all of their outlets. To facilitate this upgrade, the company invested a significant amount of $80 million to install deli meat slicers in 20,000 locations.
The array of deli hero sandwiches consists of four exciting additions, each designed to highlight the exquisite taste of freshly-sliced meat. Among them, the titan turkey and grand slam ham sandwiches stand out as they boast a remarkable 33% more meat compared to the standard Subway subs. Additionally, customers can relish the flavorful garlic roast beef sub, while those seeking a truly hearty option can indulge in the beast sandwich, generously packed with half a pound of savory meat.
