Bobbi Althoff is revealing how she came to success so quickly, just four months into launching The Really Good Podcast.
During a recent interview with Cosmopolitan, she reflected on her rise to popularity and addressed the industry plant rumore while also discussing her viral interview with Drake.
Suspicion of Althoff being an industry plant arose swiftly. Still, the mother of two refuted these claims by offering $300 to anyone who could help her secure a celebrity guest for her podcast.
Following a tag by someone, comedian Rick Glassman became her initial guest. Althoff then sent the promised amount to the individual, sealing the deal on her first podcast episode.

Using the same method, she got Funny Marco as her next guest. A clip from that interview caught Drake’s attention online, so he liked and followed Althoff on Instagram. Surprised by this, Althoff contacted Drake for a potential podcast episode.
“I decided to just go for it and shoot my shot,” she said. “I DMed Drake and asked if he wanted to be on my podcast, and he said yes. He sent me his touring schedule, and I knew I needed to make it happen fast, so my friend and I flew to Memphis two days after the original DM was sent to record the episode.”
Her response comes shortly after fans criticized the rapper for interviewing a white woman and not giving that same opportunity to known Black platforms like Million Dollaz Worth of Game, Drink Champs, or The Joe Budden Podcast.
