Usher and Keke Palmer are turning the scandal with her “Boyfriend” into a fire new visual.
The superstar vocalist has announced his latest single, “Boyfriend,” with Palmer starring as his leading lady in the video. He unveiled the first look on Tuesday via Instagram, which shows Palmer rocking blue and black tresses in a lit-up dressing room as the camera pans to Usher, who walks through a red-illuminated hallway.
“Somebody said that your boyfriend’s looking for me,” Usher sings in the brief clip.
The “Nice & Slow” singer and talk show host made headlines after he serenaded her during his Las Vegas residency in July. While on stage, she wore a sexy black mesh dress, and the video seemingly rattled her baby daddy, Darius Jackson. He called her out on social media for her dress, sparking a vicious dragging that both Palmer and Usher are now looking to capitalize on.
Palmer, who shares a six-month-old son with Jackson, has kept tightlipped about their relationship status following the viral moment. However, judging by all remnants of him being scrubbed from her social media platforms and vice versa, one can assume that the two may be on the rocks. Nevertheless, that is not stopping Palmer’s grind. She continues to host her “Baby, This Is Keke Palmer” podcast and other media endeavors.
“Boyfriend” will make its debut Wednesday, and the preview has already gotten the internet talking.
