Britney Spears’ prenup will prevent her estranged husband, Sam Asghari, from obtaining spousal support or any of her assets.
Sources with knowledge of the prenup told TMZ that although Asghari isn’t entitled to much, he will get to keep the gifts she gave him during their marriage, including cars.
According to documents, the prenup also details a ‘confidentiality clause’ preventing Sam from discussing their relationship.
Despite the prenup’s restrictions, Sam has filed for spousal support to challenge and renegotiate the agreement. If he succeeds, the confidentiality clause might lose its effect, prompting Britney to potentially offer him a sum to maintain his silence.
Any payment from Britney to Sam is expected to be a few hundred thousand dollars, a small amount compared to the $15 million advance she received for her forthcoming book.
Unfortunately, Sam holds significant firsthand information about Britney, their relationship, disputes, and her challenges. Britney is prepared to pay him if any of this becomes public.
Sources say that Britney and Sam’s lawyers will negotiate, leading to her writing him a check for a few hundred thousand dollars. The agreement will include a confidentiality clause that mandates Sam to return the money if he breaks the non-disclosure terms.
